Meghan Markle styled a surprisingly affordable tube dress with a pair of almost flip

Meghan Markle turned 42 years old on August 4th, and her style is as impeccable as ever.

A few days before her birthday, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out for a date night with her husband Prince Harry wearing a black and white striped tube maxi dress with a surprisingly accessible price tag (at least for a royal).

The Theo Strapless Dress by Posse retails for $239 (around £190) and runs from size XXS to XL. The knit dress features an elastic bust, creating a figure-hugging silhouette with a more relaxed fit.

However, if you'd like to add the casually elegant look to your own wardrobe, you'll have to pre-order the dress, which is expected to be sent out to purchasers in “early October,” according to the brand's website.

As for Markle, the birthday girl styled the tube dress with a brown clutch and a surprisingly casual pair of black sandals that definitely border on flip-flop territory, save for the secure ankle strap. She and Prince Harry were photographed while leaving Tre Lune in Montecito, California. "From what I gathered, they enjoyed their food and had a nice time," a source told People. You can expect to see more of Meghan Markle's summer-to-fall transition wardrobe as we head into early September when the duchess joins her husband at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany.

According to Tatler, Markle is set to moderate the event's closing ceremony. If her former appearances at the Invictus Games are anything to go by, there will be plenty more wardrobe inspo coming our way.
